what are some blues artists that influenced rock n roll?
ok, so ive been getting into blues rock(Cream,The Yardbirds, Rolling Stones etc) so i’m looking for some good blues artists that influenced them.( howlin wolf, muddy waters etc)
I was just watching the new show on VH1, The Evolution Of Metal and Kirk Hammett said something to the effect that blues music gets on a beat and keeps working it to create its sound which is what metal does. That’s not an exact quote but hope you get the gist of what I’m saying.
