Who do you think is the best country blues singer?
Or who would you suggest me to listen to? I don’t have much at all, but I really really like that style of music, and am interested in it. I want some more, but where should I start?
Jimmie Rodgers, the Father of Country Music, who recorded all those great Blue Yodels as well as The Brakeman’s Blues, Never No Mo’ Blues, Desert Blues, Train Whistle Blues, T.B. Blues, Long Gone Lonesome Blues, Mississippi River Blues and many, many more. Great stuff!

What are you looking forward to? Have you been there before? How was it?
I have never been there before but will love to go, i love jazz and I think Jamaica is the perfect setting for the concert
Can you think of any more blues artists with similar styles to John Lee Hooker?
I love his blues playing style a whole lot….he’s my favorite 100% blues artist I think….but I also like the blues stuff of Hendrix and several other artists with a comparable style.
